Not even a hurricane could stop the love between Ashley, Kevin and their family and friends! The weekend of Ashley & Kevin's wedding didn't start off as planned, flooded streets, closed bridges, etc...were what was going on in Bethany Beach that day...but little did mother nature know - there were 2 amazing people with the most insane amount of love for each other ready to get married regardless.

Jimmy and I were in awe. This wedding...was the most amazing wedding ever. Yes - we were inside when we should have been on the beach, yes - everyone stood for the ceremony, yes - we were all in many different rooms during the reception, yes - everyone ate on different floors of the inn...but who cared. No one. Everyone was there to celebrate the glowing love between Ashley & Kevin. Everyone was there because they wanted to be there, to be there and to make this day the most memorable and best day of their lives. And they did. The love that filled the Inn was immeasurable.

There is a lot to learn from a couple who had a grand idea of getting married on the beach in a beautiful ceremony, to the actuality of their wedding day. None of it mattered. All that mattered was that they were both there, with their closest family and friends and they were in love.

::What Ashley loves about Kevin:: I love that he is always up for anything and sees each new day as a new exciting adventure. He challenges me to be the best I can be. He's my best friend and partner in crime.

::Ashley's favorite things about the wedding:: I loved that even with the storm and awful weather all our friends and family were up to celebrate us getting married. We had so much fun dancing and being together in the small Addy Sea! We felt so lucky to have such an amazing group of people around us on our very special day.

::What Kevin loves about Ashley:: I lover her smile, I love her energy, positive outlook on everything, that she always has my back, that we make a great team, and that she is always up for an adventure. She is the friendliest person I have ever met. It is contagious. We get along so well. I love when she is around and miss her when she is not.

::What Kevin thought when he saw Ashley walking down the stairs:: It was simply amazing. With the chaos of the day, it just all happened so fast...and then there she was coming down the stairs. She looked beautiful. I could tell she was so happy. I loved that moment and will remember it forever.

::Kevin's most memorable moment of the day:: Seeing Ashley in her dress for the first time!

::What Ashley thought when she saw Kevin at the altar:: I thought he looked so handsome and felt so lucky that I had such an amazing man in my life and he was going to be my husband. His smile made me so happy!

::Ashley's most memorable moment of the day:: I loved seeing Kevin for the first time when I was walking down the stairs. I was so nervous I was going to fall or mess up. The second I saw him that all disappeared and I was so happy to be marrying him.

::Ashley's favorite reception moment:: I had so many! I loved walking down the stairs and being announced as Mr and Mrs McCabe and having the dance party in the living room.

::Kevin's favorite things about the wedding:: Matthew’s Dance Moves. The Storm & The Wind, Being surround by all our friends and family and them all crammed in the foyer for the wedding ceremony, everyone crammed in the bedroom for photos, Getting new parents and a new sister, Cousin Steve’s Beard, The Addy Sea Staff, The Photographers, Becca Boo’s awesome Flower Girl skills, How great the wedding party looked. How great our families looked. Dancing to the mummers with my mom, the Schaefer beer for my dad, and seeing pure joy on everyone’s face the entire day.

::Kevin's favorite reception moment:: We were supposed to have a band, but the weather forced us to have music inside...That ended up to be perfect like everything else about that day. They moved all the tables & chairs, we hooked up an ipod to some speakers, and that small foyer where we married just a couple hours ago became the best dance spot on the East Coast. It was a perfect ending to the day. Everyone was just having a blast.
