It is truly a privilege to be invited to spend the day with a couple and capture all the special moments from their wedding day. When the couple is practically family, like they were from the wedding this past weekend at the Morrison House in Alexandria - it’s beyond an honor to be the people they choose to document those memories.
I first met the groom Steve, when he was my boss many years ago. Jimmy and I both worked with him over the years, socialized with him, listened to countless stories of his military days (he was in the 519 if you didn’t know), got to know his family, and our girls were even in his daughter Hannah’s wedding. And after meeting Tif now, it feels like she was always meant to be right there with us too! Seeing how happy the two of them make each other is heartwarming and you can see the love in all of their photos.
We dodged another rain forecast, and were able to capture some beautiful shots on the stairs of the Morrison House and with Steve’s classic Mercedes, Gertie. Steve and Tif were STUNNING and looked like something right out of a magazine! We were lucky enough to witness an amazing ceremony filled with love, tears, lots of laughs, and a string quartet! The intimate reception which followed seemed like the perfect way to start the rest of Steve and Tif’s life together.
Steve and Tif - you deserve all of this happiness and so much more!
