Meet Claire & Haley - two beautiful sisters. They were so much fun to photograph. It isn't often that I only photograph older siblings, but I really enjoy it when I do. There is a whole new dynamic when photographing seniors and older children. Its a change of pace from making animal and airplane noises to just asking someone to smile or laugh or look off into the sunset.
I enjoy every aspect of my job, be it chasing around a 2 year old who doesn't like to sit still, capturing the look on a Bride's face when she is dancing with her husband for the first time, seeing the love a new Mother has for her newborn, to making an entire family laugh and hug each other in a photo that they will cherish forever.
Capturing memories, memories of how a person is at a certain moment in time, a time you never want to forget, and now you will never have to as it has been captured forever. Things change so fast, in the blink of an eye, kids grow, people move away, life happens. Get out there and take some photos and remember things how they are now, so you won't have to look back and say I wish I had a photo when...
Claire and Haley - thanks for being such beautiful and amazing subjects. I am so lucky I could capture this moment in your lives forever - sister love is the best. Enjoy your sneak peek!
The Hauf kiddos are all growing up! The youngest is now almost 2 - here he is as a newborn!!
It was a hot day earlier this week when we met for photos - we had been trying to set up their session for weeks but kept getting rained out. The night of their session a little rain would have been more then welcome as a shower to cool us all off!
The kids didn't seem to mind the heat and all had fun while climbing on mile high mulch piles, laying in the grass, sitting in tubes and climbing trees.
Katie & Dan - thanks again for another fun filled session - next time I'm having you sign a waiver. ;) Enjoy your sneak peek!
The McCann family is patiently awaiting the arrival of their little man. And I'd have to say so am I!
I love when I get to meet the families of a new little baby before their arrival. It allows me time to meet the family (and their pets) as well as hear how excited they are to meet their newest family member. Then not only do I get to meet and photograph the baby, I get to see the amazing transformation the family makes...it is all super sweet.
Joanie and Mike - Thanks so much for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives. I can't wait to meet your little guy!! Enjoy your sneak peek!
