I love the beach. I always have, always will. It is one of my most favorite places to go...ever. So much so that my amazing husband has taken me and the girls there every Mother's Day since I became a Mom. I'm lucky. My girls and Jimmy love the beach too - so that makes it so much better.
So needless to say I was thrilled when Annie contacted me about doing Emily's 1 year photos on the beach! Sign me up!!
Any reason to go to the beach is fine by me! We all went and spent the day on the beach as a family then I met up with Emily and her parents that evening before sunset. It was a perfect day. Weather, sand, sun...

This sweet little girl's Mommy works with a bunch of other clients of mine one of which being Scarlett's Mommy from the previous post. Megan (Claire's Mommy) went into the hospital to be induced with her bag all packed and ready, but they took a detour to stop by and meet Baby Scarlett since she was born just about a day before. So sweet that these girls will get to grow up together! As we all know girlfriends are the best :)

I was super excited when Amy told me that Olivia was going to be a Big Sister. I had the pleasure to photograph Olivia as a newborn about 3 years ago and now her little sister Scarlett too. Such sweethearts.
Scarlett slept the entire session except when Olivia was holding her as she didn't want to miss out on hanging with her Big Sister! I don't blame her...Olivia is tons of fun and a ball full of energy! It will be neat to watch Scarlett grow and see how she takes on her own personality...as a Mom of 2 girls with COMPLETELY different personalities it is pretty cool to see!
