Bri + Zack - Pond View Farm Wedding - Harford County, Maryland

2020 was the year of wedding rescheduling as far as photography goes - Bri + Zack’s wedding was no exception. Originally planned for Fall 2020 was pushed to 2021 so needless to say everyone had been counting down the days until October 3, 2021.

Let me say — it did not disappoint. If Bri + Zack were to throw a party once a month with all of the amazing people who attended their wedding…we’d be there every single time. It was the party of parties…dare I say EPIC.

From the first look with Bri’s Dad to the look on Zack’s face as he saw his bride for the first time — every moment was special and more beautiful than the last.

Then there was the reception. There wasn’t a single moment the dance floor wasn’t packed. Like couldn’t move - packed. Every time we turned around someone was being hoisted up into the air, doing the worm or just plain dancing their heart out. It definitely made for some amazing photos.

Simply put - Bri + Zack were made for each other. Perfect compliments. And so in love.

Emily + Jim - Rutledge Farm Wedding - White Hall, Maryland

As most everyone in the wedding industry knows, this is the year of making plans and remaking plans and going with the flow in terms of wedding planning — Emily and Jim were no exception.

They had originally planned to get married in Italy!! How amazing is that!! As you can imagine their plans had to drastically change and they were excited to then have their wedding at one of their favorite restaurants in Baltimore - the gorgeous Bar Vasquez. Once limits were put on the restaurants in Baltimore City — plans had to change once again to them having the full wedding on Emily’s parents farm… to then finding out they could have the reception portion at Bar Vasquez. THEN just 4 days before their wedding date they found out that indoor dining in the city was closed and they had to look for a plan number FIVE!

All along Emily was looking at the big picture — she was getting to marry her best friend, regardless of the location and plans — in the end she and Jim would be husband and wife and that was all that mattered. The final plan came together two days before their big day — the amazing people at Bar Vasquez took it upon themselves to locate a local winery who would host the reception at their outdoor venue. Bar Vasquez would take care of the catering there….and it was amazing! The family behind Basignani Winery graciously welcomed Emily, Jim and all of their family and friends to their gorgeous location in Sparks, Maryland.

The day couldn’t have turned out more perfect — yes, not all of their close family and friends could make it but they were able to watch via zoom and even had a champagne and Georgetown Cupcake toast with the couple after their ceremony. The weather was amazing, the setting was perfect and also meant so much to the couple as it was where Emily grew up and held so many memories.

The love was felt all day long and everyone was thrilled to celebrate the marriage of Emily and Jim and forget a little about the craziness of todays world. Emily and Jim — thanks for the escape and trusting me with capturing the memories of one of the most important days in your life. Congratulations you did it!! :)

Katy + Ray - Havre de Grace Wedding

What a FUN day we had in Havre de Grace for Ray and Katy’s wedding. Right from the start it was clear that their friends and family were there to celebrate this gorgeous couple and have a blast doing so! Their time spent getting ready was filled with laughter, smiles, and story telling - before everyone made their way in school buses to St. John’s Church for a heartwarming ceremony and Swan Harbor Farm for an epic reception.

The scenery at Swan Harbor certainly didn’t disappoint! We walked with the bridal party and captured their goofy sides before Ray and Katy spent some time posing like professionals. They are masters at the dip! And there aren’t even words to describe the sunset that evening, so you’ll have to check out the photos below to see just how breathtaking it was. Their guests played corn hole and then DANCED the night away! Throw in hilarious bridal party announcements and speeches that had the couple doubled over in laughter - it was just non stop enjoyment.

Ray and Katy - thank you for having us there to witness all the fun. We wish you even more happiness and laughter throughout your marriage than you had this day…if that is even possible!
